Race Day: Transition open from 5:30am to 7:00am. Pre-race briefing at 7:00am. Race starts at 7:15am.

Time Limits: Olympic event participants need to complete the swim and be on the bike course by 9:10am. Participants need to be onto the run course by 11:30am.

What You Need to Know About USAT Insurance Coverage
Substitution and Refund Policy: No refunds (sorry no exceptions). You can self service your personal info changes via the "My Events" link in your confirmation email thru 5/24. You can use the same My Events link to swap events by 5/24 ($20 to change Elkhart Lake Tri categories). You can use the same link to transfer your Elkhart Lake Tri registration to another athlete by 5/18 ($30 fee to transfer). No swaps or transfers after the above dates. No refunds for event cancellation due to weather, course, or safety considerations.
Triathlon Course... Swim: 1.5Km swim in pristine, spring fed Elkhart Lake. Time trial swim start. Short bike transition. Water temps: 61-72. Issued swim caps must be worn. Wetsuits are HIGHLY recommended. Bike: 48Km out and back bike course through the rolling hills of northern Sheboygan County and southern Calumet County. Helmets meeting current USAT standards are mandatory. Run: 10Km looped course. Water at 1.5 mile intervals. Exit on lakeside walkway of Osthoff Resort beach. Finish at The Osthoff Resort. Note-Course can be changed at organizer's discretion without notice.
Course Condition Flag System - We will use an industry standard flag system to inform you of course conditions. This is especially important given the weather forrcasted for Saturday.
Green- Good-Event is under fair conditions
No action necessary
Yellow– Moderate – Conditions are less than ideal
Pace slowed. Conditions can worsen
Red– HIGH – Potentially hazardous conditions
Course change possible. Cutoff times moved up
Black – EXTREME – Dangerous Conditions
Course closed or event cancelled
