Dairyland Udder Calf

Dairyland Udder Half:  Sprint distance triathlon (400 yard swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run)

5pm-8:30pm	T1 bike drop and setup,optional. (Overnight security provided at T1)
8:30pm	T1 closed to advance bike drop

Saturday 8/4/2012
5am-6:30am	T2 open for gear setup.
5am-6:15am	Packet pickup LTC Conf Center
5am-6:30am	Shuttle from parking areas to T1
5am-6:3-am	Bike drop at T1.  Drive up drop lane provided.  Shuttle to parking and T2
5am-6:30am	Shuttle - T2 to T1
5am-6:30am	Shuttle - All parking to T1
5am-6:30am	Shuttle - LTC Parking to T2
6:40am	Transition closes.  Final pre-race briefing
7am	Udder Half starts
8:30am	Udder Calf starts
10:30am	Udder Calf awards presentation
12:45pm	Udder Half awards presentation

Awards:  5 year Age-groups, Clydesdale, Athena, Relays. Awards to top 3 in each division; top three men and women overall receive Open division awards.  Finisher medal to all completing the events.

Governing Rules:  USA Triathlon rules are in effect.   Participants must be USAT members or the $12 USAT single day permit fee will automatically be collected on behalf of USAT.

Parking and Shuttle:   Parking is available at LTC and at Dairyland Park.  Shuttle to swim start/transition area is provided to all athletes.

Packet Pickup / Check-In:  Packet pickup and check-in is Friday 8/3/2012 at Lakeshore Technical College Conference Center from 4pm until 9pm and Saturday 5:00am-6:00am. Includes tech shirt, sponsor goodies.   NOTE: USAT rules REQUIRE photo ID for packet pickup.

Race Day:  Event 8/4/2012. Transition opens 5:00am to 6:30am. Pre-race briefing at 6:40am. Calf event starts at 8:30am

Expo:  Friday before the event 4-9pm, LTC Conference Center

Substitution and Refund Policy:  No substitutions allowed. No refunds (sorry no exceptions).  There is a $10 event change fee to swap events (each change)

Udder Calf:  Swim: 400 yard open water swim in Lake Michgan from Cleveland's Hika Park.  Time trial start. Short bike transition. Issued swim caps must be worn. Wetsuits are recommended.    Bike: 12 mile looped course.  Relatively flat bike course through Mantowoc County. Helmets meeting current USAT standards are mandatory.  T2 at Dairyland Park.  Run: 3.1mile looped course. Water at 1.5 mile intervals.  Finish at Diaryland Park (0.3 miles from swim/T1)
